CPC Training throughout the UK

We present the RTITB (Road Transport Industry Training Board) Accredited Master Driver CPC periodic training in Dorset, Hampshire, Somerset and Wiltshire. In order to present these courses the Instructor must have passed the necessary tests to be accredited the Master Driver, we are the Only Accredited Master Driver CPC periodic training provider in Dorset. Our Instructors will bring the Master Driver Knowledge and experience as NRI (National Register of LGV Instructors) Approved Instructors to your classroom room or ours.

We are also the Only Training Provider in Dorset Qualified and Accredited to provide practical driver training that will register time towards your Driver CPC. 

Master Driver CPC periodic training means you will have the option to sit voluntary Master Driver assessments and if successful, you will be awarded a Master Driver CPC certificate to add to your CV proving you have a minimum 80% knowledge base of the subject matter taught that day. If you choose not to sit the assessments you will still gain your Driver CPC and will be issued a record of attendance.

Driver CPC came into effect on the 10th of September 2008 for bus/coach (PCV/PSV) drivers, and the 10th of September 2009 for lorry (LGV/HGV) drivers.

Driver CPC periodic training is a refresher course for qualified drivers, in order to qualify to sit these courses you must either already hold your Driver CPC or have have passed your LGV/HGV driving tests before the 10th September 2009, this can be from passing an LGV/HGV driving test or passing your car test before the 1st January 1997.

Driver CPC is valid for 5 years, you will need complete 35 hours periodic training before this 5 years expires in order to qualify for the following 5 year period, if you allow this to expire, you will not be legal to drive professionally.

If you have yet to gain your Driver CPC and you passed your car test on or after 1st January 1997 and/or passed your lorry test on or after 10th September 2009 you will need to complete the Driver CPC Initial Qualification.

    This course is for drivers that are already CPC qualified, and wish to maintain their driver CPC status. Every professional driver in the UK must complete 35 hours periodic training over every 5 year period once they have gain the Driver CPC Initial Qualification.
