Who can complete HGV driver training and how long will it take?

Anyone can train to be a HGV or LGV driver. Regardless of whether you’re interested in driving buses, coaches or lorries, you can sign up with MSM Training today to start working towards those new career opportunities. The only requirement is that you’re at least 18 years of age at the time you sign up and possess a full UK driving licence.

Upgrading your licence through the DVLA can sometimes take up to 6 weeks. You won’t need your provisional licence to study theory and take your test which makes it the ideal time to book. This means that once your licence returns, you will be fully prepared to begin training.
