Government legislation states that any qualified driver over the age of 18 that 
wishes to become a lorry driver must possess the qualification if they wish to make this a full time job. The qualification has been in force since September 2009 for lorry (LGV) drivers and September 2008 or bus/coach (PCV) drivers.
Learning the Driver CPC will be made easier thanks to the help of the instructors at MSM Training. We have years of experience, knowledge and the expertise that comes with being a DVSA Approved Large Goods Vehicle driving instructor. Therefore, you can draw upon the experience of our team throughout the duration of the course.
Absolute beginners will have to complete both Modules 2 and 4 to gain the initial qualification. If you passed the Category B (Car) before January 1997, you have the option of completing Modules 2 and 4 or the 35 hours periodic training. Drivers who already possess the qualification, you will have to complete the periodic training ever 5 years to ensure that your status is valid.
