ADR Training Winchester Applicants Can Count On
Driving LGVs can be a challenge in itself, but factor in hazardous materials and the challenge takes on a whole new meaning. As part of ADR training in Winchester, applicants will progress through a course that consists of various modules that cover:
- Gases
- Liquids and Solids
- Oxidising Agents
- Toxic and Infectious Substances
- Corrosives
- Miscellaneous
Core, packages and tanks are areas also covered during your ADR training. Winchester attendees should note that not all courses cover Classes 1 and 7 (Explosives and Radioactive). For more information on this, see below. Once you pass the initial training, you can schedule in refresher training up to 12 months prior to your current licence expiring. This is advised to avoid losing any time on your licence.
Winchester ADR training takes place at our MSM Training facilities located in Wimborne. Training is usually held between 8am and 4pm, and we are regularly adding course dates to our schedule, so be sure to check back often to find out more.
Our standard course lasts for three and a half days and covers core, packages and tank modules. It also covers all classes except Classes 1 and 7. Those looking to transport explosives or radioactive materials will require more specialist ADR training. Winchester is in luck, however, as our 5-day course covers these two classes in addition to everything listed above.
Plus, when you sign up for ADR training, you have the option to register 21 hours towards your Driver CPC training too. In effect, this course allows you to advance in two areas at once, saving you time and money.
